This week's Sunday Stills Challenge is the Letter "T".  This is easy for me because T stands so Talker

A Wick a Day?

I don't think I can provide you or myself with a Wick of the Day.  Although I've seen others provide a potholder a day.

This right now is my favorite candle I've created thus far.  The photos will do no justice I am sure.  It's really a pretty candle.

Candlemaking

I've been making candles for about 12 years.  During the last few years I've cut it down to only making them for the holidays.  After finally getting a partial remodel of my kitchen, it's hard to take candlemaking chances on my new counter tops and applicances.  These pics are a few of the steps necessary to take when making candles.  It's a messy process.

Here's a before shot of my kitchen prior to setting up

Here's after I've set up

This next pic is after I've poured the hot wax into the metal molds.  There are a few additional steps I make before the pour.  After the pour it's a "sit and wait" period for about 4 hours or until they're cold.

After many hours, you get a few of these

Outdoors

The Backstretch at Santa Anita Race Track

I had an opportunity to take some photos at Santa Anita Race Track this weekend.  Most of the horses were already in their stalls having been up early for their exercise.  So I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked.  By coincidence, this coming Sunday Stills challenge is Horses.  So my few pics are up early.  Check out more horses at Sunday Stills.

This is not a horse.

Sunday Stills - Halloween

I love Halloween!!  It's my number one favorite time of the year.  So this year hubby and I went to a Halloween party.  Now this costume was his idea; although many a male thought I put him up to it.

How long can such beauty last when it is just  barely hanging from a vine?
