Sunday Stills - Plants and Flowers

Sunday's challenge is Plants and Flowers. I visisted Descanso Gardens in the foothills of California with a friend of mine. She's teaching me how to use my camera. We spent a good five hours on a really nice, cool California Saturday.

You can participate in Sunday Stills here.

These are awesome! I used to live in Glendale and went to Descanso Gardens all the time. Now I'm living amongst sand and sagebrush in Nevada. I'm always in awe when I visit my mother and see how green the foothills of So. Cal. are.

Wow! You've got an eye for photographing flowers. Your four hours produced some amazing shots. The top one reminds me of a water color. And your cacti look like mountains. Stunning!

Yup, I'm really lucky getting some lessons with the camera. I deleted the bad washed out pics that I took at the beginning of the day. They were pretty bad. I hope to get some nice ones this weekend in Cambria which is where we're going for our anniversary. AND our pups are going with us. :)

Thanks for visiting my site.

You must have a good camera, combined with your skills, your closeup photos are so nice.

How long can such beauty last when it is just  barely hanging from a vine?
